  1. Another 2 months. Season’s really over for him. Bad luck and wish him a speedy recovery.

    In Lunin we trust!

  2. What does this mean? He’s gonna be out for how much more time?

  3. Poor guy, can’t catch a break…

    Speedy recovery Tibo!

  4. I’ve been saying it for a while, time to invest in Lunin for the future. Extend his contract, and work on succession plans with Courtois, you don’t know what you’ll get after such a long-term injury

  5. No way! Man this is tough. I hope he stays strong and speedy recovery.

  6. 🙁

The nightmare continues… At least its not another ACL, if you want to see it positively somehow.

  7. You really have to feel for him. At least it’s not as bad as the ACL tear, but still, he shouldn’t be going throught this.

Happy for Lunin though, gives him more time to develop and solidify his role in the squad. I don’t know what we’d do without him.

  8. fucks sake… to cope, at least lunin won’t be disrupted whilst on the form of his life.. and neuer did recover after two possible career ending injuries after hitting 30, let’s hope he recovers as successful afterwards…

  9. I don’t see why we should try and recover him this season honestly. Keep him out, and evaluate our goalkeeper situation in the summer friendlies. Terrible news and let’s hope it’s not the start of the end.

  10. Wow what terrible luck. This type of stuff could honestly be career altering.

  11. Called it, don’t rush players back from long term injuries. Could have completely prevented this situation but nope. Had to rush players back from ACL tears for UCL

  12. Tibo regains form next season or not, there’s no need to search for his replacement on the market since he’s already here.

  13. Time to give Lunin that contract extension…sorry for Thibaut

  14. gutted for him, hope he sits out the euros and recovers properly

  15. On the bright side, Lunin is here & he has proved his worth

  16. WTF. That’s really unluck for him and considering that he didn’t even fully recover from the previous one…

I’d says that even if he isn’t a RB/LB but a GK, there are high chances he might never be able to perform like back in the day.

  17. Can’t imagine what he is feeling rn. So many months out of action seeing, seeing others play from the stands, finally recover, and then get injured day before match vs Castilla. Tough luck for him 😔

  18. I saw a pick of him diving in training and though “land safely bro”

  19. Scared for Mili now, he needs to take it easy before coming back 100%. Feel bad for Courtois but atleast Lunin outperformed Kepa and is doing outstanding atm

  20. Dam he was too eager to get back in to form…Hopefully it’s not a serious injury that will affect the rest of his career.

  21. We always see injuries as numbers: days, weeks, months. But imagine how painful the recovery must be every single day to the point he injured himself while doing it.

  22. Thankfully we have Lunin in the form of his life. Let’s just hope consecutive injuries don’t derail Courtois’ career.

  23. I knew they were moving too fast. acl injury recovery time being less than a season will always be crazy to me.

  24. Heartbreaking for him. Basically losing an entire season of football. That’s a year he won’t back. I’m so sorry for him, he’s been absolutely fantastic for us, can’t even imagine how devastated he must feel.

  25. Bruuuuuuhhhh…
Good thing Lunin is doing great

  26. As much as Lunin has been inform. I was praying for Courtois to be ready against City.
