[Daniele Vitiello] Inter met with Francesco Acerbi today: the player reiterated that there was no racist or discriminatory intent in his remarks towards Juan Jesus. The club will not issue any statement and is now waiting for the Prosecutor’s Office to judge what happens in the next few days.

  1. could simply be a case of Juan Jesus mishearing something, Acerbi is our player and his character has never been brought into question by anyone before.

reserve your judgements and wait for the prosecutors office before demanding we terminate his contract and calling him scum.

  2. “Guys trust me, i didn’t anything racist, i just described his skin colour”
He could even get away with it if there isn’t an angle that captured him saying something to jesus.
    We will see

  3. Intent ?

So he called him a negro but he didn’t mean it in derogatory way ?

    First he apologized

    Then he denied

And now he didn’t intent to racially abuse him

Which one is it ? Dude is a walking contradiction

  4. It’s a good thing our club isn’t run by a bunch of self righteous individuals who engage in virtue signaling on Reddit, even before they know all the facts.

Acerbi, despite his history as a Lazio player, has been a stalwart in our defense. He merits, at the very least, a fair investigation and deserves at least, a presumption of innocence until the court says otherwise.

Regardless, as an Inter Milan fan, I will always extend the benefit of the doubt to any of our Inter players over those from other teams, who do not have the best interests of our club in mind.

Again, it would be a shame and a tarnish in his record if what he was accused of is true and he deserves whatever punishment the FIGC throws at him. However, we should refrain from wielding our pitchforks until the verdict arrives.

  5. I trust Acerbi maybe Juan Jesus misheard something, same case with Bellingham and Greenass where they discussed either this or that has been said

  6. If he’s still saying this I’m assuming there’s no way for Juan Jesus to prove otherwise.

  7. Acerbic is innocent even though he says that the game was really intense, easy to say anything

But the Brazilian players they are in this trend of everyone is racist whith me so I don’t buy anything that Jesus says

More than we should way first until they investigate with the phones and cameras of the match

FIGC is stupid doing this without considering that probably acerbi is innocent even before of an euro

  8. They shouldn’t be asking what his intent was, they should be asking what were the words he said. Saying it wasn’t his intent would mean getting away with anything, like, “hey fuck you, no offense.” “What I said no offense!”

  9. I hope he didn’t, but it’s kind of hard to believe him. There’s a video of him saying he’s not racist to Jesus. He points at Thuram as to why he couldn’t be. He apologizes to Jesus.
Why all that if he never said negro? Why would Jesus make it up? Why isJesus now calling him a liar after Acerbi changed the narrative?

I don’t see this going well for him, but if he’s innocent, I hope it comes out soon, and we move on.
