Russians don’t care about people loss, they still have plenty of reserves
No one expected the Ukrainians to hold out for this long, their efforts will be remembered even if they lose.
Ukraine could definitely win if it received enough support.
The price they’re happy to pay, and the they’re going to pay to take Polish and Baltic towns and cities, if they were to win
They may have paid a high price but as we’ve seen they have plenty in the bank to cover it.
Ah yes ukraine didint grind its soldiers there? I thought it was bith side grinding their meat…
Ukraine can only win by wrecking Russias economy. Like they do since around election day there. Let it a year. If they grind most of russias refineries down and eventually other critical infrastructure, russia will turn upside down. No need to retake land with horrible losses anymore. Doesn’t mean it will be all dandy afterwards.
Avdiivka was a modern day thermophylae without the betrayal.
RIP to the fallen Ukrainians and may those who survive fight another day.
War is brutal. No shit
Some of you may die, but it’s a sacrifice I am willing to make ~ putler maybe
Russian losses were huge but keep in mind that the majority of them were the released convicts and the fresh conscripts sent in the first waves. The trained soldiers survived more or less unharmed.
Heard this from Ukrainan soldiers in a couple of interviews.
To the Kremlin that price was not shocking nor high: they got what they wanted and still are in charge, that is only what matters to them.
600 tanks lost to conquer a town of 30k people means they were losing a tank for every 15 burnt out log cabins they gained.
Russians your being slaughtered in ukraine its current day holacust putin sends his peolle in boxarts
“Paid a shocking price”, okay… But now *they have it*. That they paid a shocking price is meager comfort at this point. We shouldn’t have let Ukraine lose it in the first place.
At some point the “shocking price” to liberate these areas will be on Ukraine instead.
In Putin’s mind, in the long run a few ten thousand men is not a shocking price to capture territory, there will always be new people later. And in a way he is right about that, if he can continue doing this.
