  5. I find some of those drone footage highly problematic – Article 41 (2) „Safeguard of an enemy hors de combat“ of the Geneva convention clearly states that:
    A person who is….’ hors de combat ‘ shall not be made the object of attack.

    2. A person is ‘ hors de combat ‘ if:

    (a) he is in the power of an adverse Party;

    (b) he clearly expresses an intention to surrender; or

    (c) he has been rendered unconscious or is otherwise incapacitated by wounds or sickness, and therefore is incapable of defending himself;

    And a lot of footage on here goes against that.

  10. I’m fully on the side of Ukraine, but I hate these drones. This type of warfare is far worse than anything else I’ve seen. The people have no fighting chance. There’s no effective countermeasure

  14. This kind of makes me hate Ukraine for utilizing these things. Used to sympathize, but now they’re just toying with lone Russian soldiers, scared for their lives, in a war they don’t want to be in.

  17. These drone pilots must be some insane motherfuckers. Every clip I see they fly around taunting the soldier. I’m on Ukraine’s side but they are fucked in the head

U clearly have someone trying to surrender and instead of having the recording drone lead him to safety, they waste their munitions on an unarmed soldier. Then later on theyll cry and bitch about how they don’t have munitions for targeting the right guys.

  21. So this bothers me. Dude has his hands up to surrender asks for his life and they nuke him anyway. To me this is a war crime…yeah I get it he should not be there…but we are HUMANS and we are BETTER than this.

    1- hes got his hands up in the first instance and is unarmed. Therefor- targetting him is a Warcrime.

    I know i’ll get flack here, but LOAC is pretty black and white on this.

  24. Alot of these drone operators must be fucking psychopaths by how they fuck around with their targets. Its like they toy with them instead of just killing them right away.

  27. Obviosuly soldiers are killing each other in all sorts of ways…but this is torture. I don think those doing the torturing will never be quite the same again, assuming they weren’t always sociopaths.

    This goes for both sides.
