>The judge at Winchester Crown Court described it as a “serious offence”, which could result in a prison sentence.
How is permanently disfiguring someone and rendering them unable to work not an automatic prison sentence?
> His relationship with his girlfriend, the mother of their newborn daughter, also broke down following the incident.
Wow, this dude has been through life altering injury and then this. What kind of person leaves the other parent of their child because they’re having a medical emergency?
The fact he can’t bring a claim against deliveroo is shameful. Gig economy employers should be vicariously liable for actions of their workers, just as any other company would be.
Ah, Aldershot. No other town in the UK has quite the same blend of quite posh and rough as shit.
So they were having an argument and during this his hand was raised towards her head giving her the opportunity to bite his thumb. Is it possible she did it in self-defence?
Im wondering how tf getting a delivery could lead to such an interaction
I thought this was something that was quite normal for Aldershot
Ahh good ol’ Aldershit. Used to be the squaddies doing this stuff back in the days!!!
The Rhythm Station was quality in the nineties though.
God, I know the family of the biter. Tomorrow is gunna be rough for them.
i think this would’ve been way funnier if the driver was from ‘just eat’
I guess that’s one way you can get a *tip* as a rider!
Heard about this several months back from a mate who knew someone in the area, apparently the family were told to stay at the neighbours/ family members after this because there were fears a gang of deliveroo riders were coming to seriously batter him/ smash his house up.
“How would you rate your delivery”
“Not great, Deliveroo, not great. One star, would not recommend”
