There’s a reason why armies throughout history tend to have very little women serving, especially at the frontline. It isn’t about skills, maybe a little bit about gender physical differences, but mostly comes down to motivation. And it isn’t about motivation of women, but motivation of the male opponent.
Just imagine what’s going to happen when you tell Russian soldier that in the trenches he is about to attack are 40 “virgins” ready for rape? 😱

I don’t know what that would entail, but i’m all for both sexes to be able to sign up for the military. Let the aptitude tests figure out who’s fit for what.

Scandinavian countries have been the leaders at trying to push for women to take men’s jobs.
The more they push for it, the more they realize that girls just dont apply or study for IT, or don’t want to be carpenters, or firefighters.

We (armed forces) need MORE people. Period. Don’t fucking care whether they are men, women or other so long as they can ruck and fight like a soldier should in a war zone, and not get preferential treatment because “not male”.
Forcing sex quotas is dumb as fuck when most countries don’t even have enough soldiers.
Why?
Because it doesn’t pay, and military life has a lot of disadvantages (that can be managed, once you know how to).

Civil liberties are a concept for good times, not bad ones and if half the population dies off, we need women to have children – preferably lots of them.

I am absolutely baffled by the amount of women I’ve seen throwing a fit about mandatory service for women, saying stuff like “how is it fair that if men have to die we have to die too” or suddenly revert to traditionalism by claiming “men are made for this, it’s a man’s role”. Sometimes I wonder how many women actually realize we are humans, too.
Look I’m all for equality but the vast majority of women do not belong on the front lines due to physical limitations. I know we like to pretend that men and women are equal in everything but the reality of it is very different. Physically speaking men have a massive advantage over women, men are way stronger, have higher endurance, and can gain muscle mass at much faster rates. A 120 pound woman is going to have a hard fucking time on a battlefield carrying 50+ pounds of gear, an 8 pound gun, dealing with the recoil of that gun, and carrying a 200 pound injured soldier. Unless we start fighting with exoskeletons like in edge of tomorrow women are at a massive disadvantage on the battlefield, that’s a fact.
Also, in terms of repopulating the species, women are way more important. A woman can generally only have one kid once every year. A man can impregnate a lot of women in a year.
Why not just keep it open for everyone and see who wants to join. Instead of trying to force so called equality everywhere
