Ukrainian forces attempted to attack a Russian nuclear plant in the border region of Kursk with at least five kamikaze drones and one S-200 missile, according to local media reports.

The drones and missile which targeted the Kurchatov Nuclear Power Plant were shot down by Russian air defense systems, but the falling debris damaged a substation which provides power to at least seven streets in the Kursk region, Russian Telegram channel Mash reported on Wednesday.

  2. russia *claimed* it was attacked. There’s a big difference. But who cares when writing click bait titles

  3. Oh look highly unlikely news posted on RussiaUkraineWar2022 that’s unusual lmao

  4. This seems like a Russian propaganda? It makes no sense for Ukraine to attack nuclear power plant.
Not only it is on their border leaving the possible fallout to the luck of the weather, they also have some nuclear power plants which might become a “valid” target but it would just lower the west support for them as nobody would want to support that.
Also in the article it says a substation was damaged which would make sense to target that but that is not directly a power plant.
