Kate’s Hospital Data Breach Under Investigation
It’s been reported that staff at the London Clinic may have attempted to access Princess Kate’s private medical records.
Catherine, the Princess of Wales, underwent abdominal surgery at the London Clinic in January. Her Royal Highness spent almost two weeks in the hospital recovering after the surgery.
An internal investigation has apparently been launched by the hospital, where King Charles also recently received treatment. The UK’s data watchdog, the Information Commissioners’ Office (ICO), has also now become involved. In a statement, the ICO confirmed that it was assessing a report of a possible privacy breach.
Princess Kate is currently the subject of speculation and conspiracy theories following her temporary withdrawal from public life. But Kensington Palace has been clear from the outset that Kate’s recovery would probably take until Easter. And Her Royal Highness appeared happy and healthy while visiting a farm shop with Prince William on Saturday.
Kensington Palace has not yet commented on the reported hospital data breach attempt.

They should penalized any TV or radio or paper or tabloid or any thing ..by arresting and them fining 1,000,000 a day from the day it was stolen till court for the event is over with..and public apology is made!! As an RN, I would be appalled at any Nurse or Doctor attempting to steal or copy a patient's records.
That would be a HIPPA violation and those caught would lose their jobs and incur a hefty fine – I believe it is 250K – can't be sure of the amount right now. HOPE THEY ALL GET JAIL SENTENCES AND HEFT FINES!! Leave that poor woman alone to recuperate for crying out loud!!!

The Royals have a right to privacy in the USA it's called HIPPA any medical person knows it Not to be giving out information on any patient…

It IS a privacy breach. I know the royal family will have this investigated and cross every T and dot every I.. and although this is out of the norm I think the names of everyone involved in this, from top to bottom, will be published and they'll be sent to prison. Their privacy should be treated in the same manner. Personally, I would plant some hoax information in between the true medical records.. such an invasion of her privacy.
