As a foreigner in Estonia I do notice a difference and how the air feels so ‘fresh’. But I’m wondering what locals think? Does the air feel like some of the best in the world? 😄
Yes! This is one of the many reasons why I’m happy to live in Estonia. You can see some people being pessimistic about the high cost of living, cold weather etc., but there are many positives to living here. Such as clean air. Also we read a lot! 😊

Yup
Well, this result is based on objective measurement so there is no basis to not agree.
Residents of Kohtla-Järve do not agree with this.
The thing with yout title is…. that its bullshit.
Normal people do not care about opinions, we care about measurable facts and if, for the fact, Estonia has a cleaner air than most of the World then… Estonia has some of the World’s Best Air Quality.
It is not up for debate.
I mean, not when standing on the intersection of Liivalaia and Tartu maantee or Endla-Tehnika or whatever.
In the middle of a random-ass bog is probably fine, but Tallinn is a noisy car-infested hell hole, and that is true even if other cities are even worse.
Overall? Perhaps. After all, we have lots of forests and low population density, but that’s probably not something you would actually feel while living in a city.
We don’t have large industry and high density urban areas. Similar with other areas with similar characteristics. We don’t have large polluters upwind from us like China does to Korea. At the same our place is elevated by having quite a few measuring points. and they are strategically placed far away from the worst places.
Still seasonally level of PM 2.5 particles. Particles with 2.5 microns or smaller in size (human hair is 50-120 microns) are really high, when all the dust collected in the snow gets released, the salting of the roads, use of studded tires etc.
wait until you see the entirety of Ida-Virumaa boy, this shit gives you enough lung problems that it’ll make coal and sulfur miners look like chumps.
