Interesting how they went to a totally square lettered logo for a while in the 1910s, but then decided to stick to the original script-like apperance for the longest time.
the 1948 one is much better than what they have today. the current one has no personality, looks like a generic supermarket brand
Bidäsgö gäydä barilla :DDDDd
My wife insists that we always buy Barilla pasta but I’m honestly not sure that I can tell any difference in taste compared to other brands.
I’m such a slut for Barilla. I only buy their pasta (spaghetti and penne rigate, but sometimes girandole), their cookies and their pasta sauce (pesto rosso is the shit!) I don’t know how I would manage to prepare food on my own without Barilla.
It only got worse
In my opinion the best ones that you could still use now because of their timelessness are 1916, 1930 and 1948 (although is it just me or should the lettering be moved down slightly to centre it better?)
Honourable mention for 1937, which I think could be used again in a funky retro way that is back in style.
I really like barilla if I’m getting premade sauces but I have to say I always thought their modern logo looks far too corporate or something.

This is quite old, they’ve changed it a few times already with the last change announced just a couple of days ago: [here you can see the current logo and the new one](https://www.dissapore.com/notizie/barilla-cambia-logo-e-adotta-il-minimalismo/)
1910 and 1916 were the best!
1940’s seems like it would taste the best
