    If things are ever going to change, it has to start somewhere.

    Even just one instance in the US would teach rich people that rules apply to them.

    It costs millions to LWOP some rich fraudster in a country club.

  3. Imagine if they did this in the US or at least something more harsh than the slaps on the wrist white collar criminals get.

  4. I praise Vietnam and China for executing billionaires who cause far more damage to far more lives than any common criminal who gets far harsher punishments in America.

  5. It’s brutal both because fraud is so abundant right now, and because it often targets the lower majority who don’t really have the means to retaliate. Still not a fan of capital punishment. We should jack up funding for regulators and punishments need to have a bigger impact on the executives and share holders who are to often unaware of how their business is making money.

  6. Dig, deep enough in any billionaires wallet, and you’ll find similar reasons for seeking the death penalty.
