  1. My brother works in Southampton and one of the lads that used to work with him was into golden showers (bear with me, it’s relevant), everyone on site used to call him Norris.

Norris *McSquirter*, after Norris McWhirter from Record Breakers.

  2. Crikey, the oldest one was 3 when Jack the Ripper was cutting about the east end

  3. I’m not saying that everyone in that studio bar Philip Peter is now dead, but it is pretty likely they are.

  4. I completely forgot about Roy Castle. loved record breakers when i was younger.

  5. The first couple of them look like they’re being paraded on tv after being taken hostage.

  6. Maybe speaking to someone 3 inches away from their face was normal back then?

  7. That was quite an impressive performance by Roy Castle. I guess he must’ve been reading an autocue. He couldn’t have remembered all that information

  8. I feel like Roy Castle and Richard Hammond are basically the same person

  9. God I hoping when he asked “whats it like to be a great great great grandmother?” She replied “Well… Its great!”.

  10. I wonder where they are now/how big the family is. The younger ones, obviously…

  11. Can you imagine being a great grandmother before you’re 60? Mad.
Although if I’d kept the same pace as my Mum and Grandmother then my granny could have been a great granny before she was 60

  12. Poor fella died of lung cancer and never smoked in his life.

They say it was all the years playing the trumpet in smokey clubs around the UK.

  14. Lisa Fanny Priscilla looks either very anxious or furious.

  15. My grandmother (also Sotonian) is 4 years older than the eldest women was in this but only has 3 generations after her. My family are clearly slacking!

  16. Love how they all light up when the baby arrives 😊

  17. This video is a perfect example of a meeting that should have been an email.

  18. Just thought I’d point out that the oldest lady was just 16 when she had her daughter. Can’t imagine what life must’ve been like.

  19. Thought that was a picture at first. Sh*t me pants when she smiled.

  20. I hope one of the dads in that family are constantly singing Busted – Year 3000 to that Granny

  21. Remarkable. If that kid was born in 1980, he’s probably on Reddit somewhere.

  22. Is it just me who’s wondering what became of Perry Boggins? Great name that you wouldn’t come across these days.

  23. I think great great Fanny Lewis just got told before the camera rolled that an irish family has moved in next door.

  24. How old were they when having kids? (I thought to myself, I thought about asking and realised that would be lazy. so heres the mathS)
