Cost of living / cost of real estate is exploding and (anecdotal, my experience) basically no one can afford to buy property and the rental prices in the Metropol regions are also exploding.
Family planning gets pushed as right now it’s unclear to many if they can even afford a small apartment with two incomes, not even thinking of a place that has space for kids.

There are few scenarios in which the German population doesn’t stagnate or slightly decrease during this century. It’s a simple fact of demography at this point.
Okay…what’s the news about this story? It has been long known that Germany’s population hasn’t experienced any significant growth except by immigration and that there has been a virus taking care of those numbers that could contribute to an increase…
No one wants to go to Germany, they will all be speaking Russian in a few years anyway
