    They brought us some of the best long format combat footage ever from this war.

  5. For commanders this is a bit like a strategy computer game.

    They need to be extremely self aware to not waste people like some units from the game. I think it most relate to offensive operations.

After seeing so many videos of folks dying since the start of the war, it has me feeling pretty desensitized but really thankful for the life that I have. What a time to be alive

  14. There has to be a sense of frustration to watch the RZ vehicles assemble and drive miles to the attack, and not be able to take them out sooner. They went through some amazing choke points.

There was a lot of hype about what type of weapons and ammunition would be supplied to Ukraine, one thing I remember was [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wMuTdfaEzA) anti-tank cluster munition. To anyone that still thinks that Russia could somehow roll over nations: just remember that Ukraine is fighting the Russians with insufficient number of 30 year old equipment. I wonder how long this conflict would last if just for a single day Ukraine could use the best available systems out there.

  19. No such thing as cover anymore. You opponent can literally be watching every move you make in real time. Drones are making open field battle obsolete. Just like lining up and shooting volley’s of muskets became obsolete. We are witnessing a historical change in combat tactics and strategy. I am glad the US is not on the receiving end of this change.
