  1. Not gonna lie I thought this was a dutch thing. Im glad it’s not, next time when i go to Belgium i can start hitting people with an excuse

  2. For me yellow cars are for the post office, what? 😂

  3. My dad used to love this game when I was a kid. We used to play with both yellow cars and Minis (yellow Minis would be worth double). And we gave slaps to the back of the neck instead of punches in the shoulder.

While I was distracted playing PSP or sleeping in the car, my dad would count every yellow car or Mini he would see while driving and shout “Yellow car!”/”Mini!”. At the end of the trip he would give me all the stored slaps in a row.

  4. I played this game a lot with my dad as a kid. Didn’t know other countries did this as well

  5. 1? It’s 7 and a half here, good luck with shoulder rehab

  6. No way this is international! I’m planning another continental trip right now 🤜

  7. Holy shit it’s a european thing in general? I’m so proud

  8. Holy shit i thought it was jus us that did that

Id love to know what other countries say when they do it

  9. We did this at school. The school trip to Germany was a bloodbath.

  10. I’ve never heard of this before but I drive a yellow Adam so I’m sure I’ve caused a lot of punches over the years.

  11. After reading “The Curious Incident”, I assumed this was something autistic people exclusively did.

  12. Im planning to buy a yellow car in the future just to keep this tradition going

  13. We used to have ‘yellow number plate’, as in spot one and you can thump the ever-living shit out of your siblings upper arm. Went up to Donegal one summer on holidays and because of all the Nordie/UK regs’, we nearly got taken off the parents and put in a refuge centre for battered kids we were so black & blue…good times.

  14. Best game EVER! We added Twingos and License Plated divisible by 3 to the mix. Taxis and Mailcars were NOT yelloe tho!!!!
