A trend? I hope so. The constant polling is tiresome
While I hope with all my fiber that this is true, these polls are basically garbage. Every day there are conflicting ones posted. Trump leads Biden, Biden leads Trump, Alf eats cats… you know? It gets old real fast.
Doesn’t matter what the polls say. We have to make sure we all go vote to save our democracy.

ELI5 but practically speaking aren’t polls in battleground states the only thing that matter?
This headline will be written every week (sometimes Trump will be ahead, sometimes Biden) until the election. Different polling firms release different polls with different but similar results, constantly.
While it’s heading in the right direction, you have to account for the fact that Trump can still win without popular vote, as he did in 2016.
It could be that 52% of the vote goes to Biden and 48% goes to Trump, and Trump could still win.
Vote. Specifically, for Biden, if you care at all about the Supreme Court. There are two potential retirements coming up on the GOP side.
I’m glad, but there won’t be any overconfident turnout depression this time.

Beyond the polls, I take.more comfort in knowing that trump.could not secure a bond for his criminal fraud case.
The fact is, now days, polling are often flawed and in some cases, even manipulated.
Now, while greed is bad but at least you can count on it to always be greedy. Trump was rejected by a good number of agencies for the bond which indicates to me that the money are not counting on him being president because I am sure the greedy money are more than happy to extend a bond to him if Trump is favored to be taking the white house, especially given how Trump plays up favoritism and is very indictive.
So, it’s not the polls that gives me.confidence in Bidens’ chance, it’s the fact that greed is not betting on Trump.

Not a snowballs chance in hell can Trump pull out a win. I believe we are entering the last chapter of the republican party (if you can even call them Republicans anymore in the first place). Yes folks…get out and vote no matter what polls say. The true American majority will make this very clear on election day and hopefully the last we see of Trump and his cult.
I am a tiny blue dot in a deeply red state but I will be casting my vote for Biden/Harris. I no longer trust the judicial system to hold Trump accountable so we need to take it upon ourselves in November by rejecting him a third time.
Voters are dropping the drama and finally being serious about this.
In the end Biden is obvious.

There are so many reasons why it’s insane that this is so close, but I keep going back to him being a fucking rapist. A goddamn court of law found him liable for rape. And about half the country still wants to vote for him.
If one tenth of Trump’s baggage applied to a democrat candidate they would be toast. The entire GOP is a goddamn cult.
I wish the Dems had a much more younger and popular candidate. This should not be a contest. Both parties clearly need a refresh. I will hold my nose and vote for Biden again like I did 4 years ago.

Other polls have Trump leading by roughly the same amount. Which the article admits 3 or 4 paragraphs in.
Pretty sure the only thing we can extrapolate from this data is that they are tied.
