> During his surprise visit to Kyiv on March 20, U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan vowed that the United States would deliver a $60 billion aid package to Ukraine despite its current impasse in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.
>
> “We are confident we will get this done. We will get this aid to Ukraine,” Sullivan said at a press conference in Kyiv alongside Ukraine’s Presidential Office Head Andriy Yermak.
>
> The U.S. Senate approved a $95 billion funding package on Feb. 13 that contained $60 billion in aid for Ukraine, but it still faces an uphill battle in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.
It’s genuinely amazing that the US has given up so much influence on Europe.
Congrats America. You’ve now got a Europe that’s going to be reliant on itself for defence in future. Asia’s probably learning the exact same lesson too.
Edit: This isn’t an invite to general criticism or politics. I do not care about political opinions beyond Ukraine aid.
Talk is cheap. Get it done or stop talking.
Sure 👍
I will believe it , when I see it . Enough with vows , words , promises . We saw and are seeing them broken day after day .
And it is all coming from the guy who just recently spoke that “Russia is already defeated” and who influenced the bloody idiotic “boiling the frog strategy” , so we only got dozens ATACMS after counteroffensive was dead .
Unfortunately, it is not for him to decide on such things. Such decisions are now made by Putin.
Well he can’t decide that alone so what’s the point saying it?
