The scandal about fake diplomas at the Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University in Güzelyurt/Omorfo/Morfou is spreading more and more every day.
So far the following people have been arrested:
– some government and university officials
– a former minister for higher education and his wife
– a bodyguard of Ersin Tatar
– the head of YODOK, which is the higher education accreditation board
– and now the Famagusta police chief.
Which is surprising since the police chief reports directly to the Turkish military and a district police chief is in the hierachy quite high up.

Fake country=fake diplomas ..that’s normal
RoC take notes. We also have many cases of fake diplomas but no punishments.
So what will happen to lower level government workers who possibly get accepted for the job because of their fake certficates?
can we get some mods to update the education section of our FaQ?
