A question for Romanians how many of your big grain producers are Romanian companies?
This is sort of good and bad? Like Lithuania for it’s size has a sizable part in wheat exports but wheat in itself has a rather low value added. Therefore there has been talks about investing or attracting investors to process wheat and produce higher value added products. But that is a slow development and for now we will also enjoy our big wheat exports.
Also the largest sunflower seeds exporter in EU. 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Can’t help but think this is related to pootins recent demands regarding Ukraine.
Then there’s the Holodomor…
Romania is a bread basket
Afaik Romania has the largest chernozem (black soil) area in EU, still less than Moldavia and much less than Ukraine.
