  1. We still making those?

I know we started in the 1910s and went all out in 1930s/40s, but I thought we kinda gave up on the whole thing after 45. ^ ^

  2. Every 10 years three new submarines like clockwork.
When you have a real military with real military needs and a serious deterrence doctrine to uphold.

Israeli German relations have finally stabilized to a mutually beneficial and strong relationship.

We sell software missiles optics sensors and battlefield experience

The Germans provide high quality engines chemicals and naval vessels

Israel respects German policies in Europe Germany respects Israeli policy in the Middle East.

  3. No weapons for Ukraine to defend itself. But OK to prop Israel army so they can continue with their apartheid system against Palestinians.

  4. Israel is wealthy , why do my Canadain tax dollars go to them ? Why does Canada support a country with one of the biggest concentration camps in the world ?

  5. Germany is the biggest Exporteurs of Submarines worldwide by the way.

All in all Germany is very restrictive on their weapons exports (much much more than for example France) and yet they still are the fifth largest exporter worldwide.

It’s also interesting that while the US banks 35 or so percent of the world global exports, the EU exports around 29% or something similar. So assuming Germany loosens it’s position, the entire global weapons export business would be almost fully shared between the US and EU – as both increase their exports steadily

  6. Important news on these subs is that they possibly contain vertical launch cells, which would mean Israel could launch cruise missiles or ballistic missiles from its submarines. The most obvious benefit of this is that it makes launching nuclear missiles more easy. Hence, if that is true, these submarines from Germany would massively strengthen the nuclear deterrence. At that point, spending a few billion while substantially improving the safety of the state is a no-brainer. Also, in 10 years time, Dolphin I will be old.
