I would ask if anyone is willing to translate the press conference, but it’s 90 minutes long, so even asking for people to translate highlights from the conference feels unreasonable. Either way, if you want to follow to events of the Special Liberation Operation, follow r/freedomofrussia.

    > The Russian Freedom Legion explained the military meaning of its operation: they foiled a new Russian offensive. This was announced at a press conference by the representative of the unit.

    > “In a military sense, they were forced to transfer significant forces from near Kupyansk to hold the Belgorod and Kursk regions. In fact, we foiled the offensive plans of the Russian army,”

    > “We distracted the tactical aviation, it carried out more than 320 airstrikes, all the bombs landed on the territory of Russia. Thanks to our operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to stabilize the front and cover the areas where a massive Russian attack was expected,” said the representative of the LSR.

  2.  “foiled the offensive plans of the Russian army”

This may be a bit of a stretch, but it does highlight the importance of having some kind of offensive action.

Despite popular opinion, you don’t want to be in a total defensive posture, letting the enemy dictate everything. It’s important to find ways to apply pressure /make them react to something.

I’m not saying don’t build defensive lines. I’m not saying commit your best battalions to frontal charges. I’m saying find ways to make your opponent second guess their strategy and positioning.
