A Concorde jet has been floated down the Hudson River in New York after months of refurbishments. After the supersonic flights were retired in 2003, one of the jets was housed in a Manhattan museum

  1. Concorde used to fly over my house in London twice a day. So exciting, elegant and Very Noisy, but beautiful. She followed the river Thames from Heathrow airport on her way to New York or somewhere else. Such a great aeroplane. She should have a place of honour where everyone can see her. ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥂🍾🥂🍾🥂🥂🍾

  2. Perhaps the most beautiful aircraft ever built. Seeing it land and take off was really moving. I wonder where this lovely bird will come to rest so that the public can admire it?

  3. I LOVE this jet's sharply pointed nose, unlike the Boeing 787. If only it can be used as a rocket going up to space, wouldn't it be so cool!
