  3. There was a similar thing in Japan earlier this year when a konbini ordered 999 onigiri (instead, I assume, of 99) and they had to display them all with big signs that said ‘SOS :(‘ and discounted them in order to get rid of them quickly

  4. They should hide the surplus about the island to incentivise tourism.

  5. 720 eggs, for a population of 500.

    Pretty sure some brave, kind souls will offer to eat more than one.
