IF it’s the quality of Narcos (not Mexico) it will be much better than Peaky Blinders.
Originality is alive and well, he sarcastically said.
I tried watching Peaky Blinders but couldn’t forgive the anochronistic music selections. There was one scene where the Peaky Blinders gang was beating up some dude and modern British punk thrash music was playing at the same time. I just couldn’t take it seriously after that. Music doesn’t have to necessarily match the time period for me to care but it can’t be cartoonishly bad, grotesque anachronistic music.
Call it “Gangs in New York” or something, just spitballing.
Wasn’t gangs of new York supposed to be turned into a TV show. Thought I read something about it during lock down.
