  1. Belarus, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Bosnia most probably due to Serbian presence and Georgia and Moldova for, you know why.

  2. All red population at most 900 million. A single China already suppress the red. Plus an India making the red really minority.

  3. Where is this data coming from? I find it hard to believe that Slovakia with its current government is red

  4. Looks like a map of the world described in 1984…neat

  5. Looking at this map, there is no doubt that Russia is a polarizing force and I predict there will be war. It may not necessarily look like this map, I certainly wouldn’t equate a polite call with a military backing, but we know domination is the goal and aggression is the means. The rest will play out in the fullness of time.

  6. This map shows just how precarious our values are. Much of the world doesn’t live by the same standards and norms that we do. This should worry us but also give us more reslove to defend our nations and the values that underpin them.

  7. What’s the point for my country holding election when others candidate are chosen by Putin himself…

  8. “*The International Community* widely condemns the unfair elections”

    -Western media

  9. Shows you what most of the world is like. Despotic shitholes. Fair elections aren’t something to be taken for granted.

  10. Famously the Boxed in country that is threatened by the world… The *checks notes* largest country by land mass

  11. No surprise for Brazil. Lula is only for democracy when it directly benefits him politically, otherwise he loves dictators.

  12. A casual reminder that for most of the world, our liberal and democratic values are a complete joke at best, and a dangerous moral degeneracy at worst.

The only reason why these values have any influence on the world at all, is because democratic powers have the most money and the biggest militaries. If this was ever to change, the rest of the world would be more than happy to help Russia/China rip us to shreds.

  13. The red countries still officially recognize the results despite all the strong words, don’t they? They only don’t recognize the outcome in the occupied parts of Ukraine.

And yes, most of the world isn’t on our side.

    Edit. [2024 Russian presidential election](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Russian_presidential_election):

    > A spokesperson for the United States National Security Council described the election as “obviously not free nor fair given how Mr. Putin has imprisoned political opponents and prevented others from running against him”, but said that the US would recognize Putin as president.

[Compare these reactions to those to the 2020 Belarusian elections.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_reactions_to_the_2020_Belarusian_presidential_election_and_protests), where official statements of non-recognition were issued.

So yeah, the red ones condemn but still recognize.

  14. It’s starting to feel like the west against the rest of the world

  15. Why the fuck Georgia covered in white and green, if none of the officials except a subdivisional, separatist territory called Abkhazia recognized those elections as either official or democratic? Most of Abkhazians know that they are occupied by Russians, just as much as Donetsk, Crimea or Lugansk – so I don’t see the difference between red and blue and white and green.

  16. Why is it surprising? Liberal democracies represent a minority in the world. Richer but still a minority.

Our colonialist past doesn’t help too. Better to get used to the idea that we are no better than other civilizations, just different. And let’s get used to the idea that we are not going to stay as rich as we currentlty are.

The whole European Green deal comes from these assumptions, for the future it’s better to be as independent as we can from any foreign influence.

Now all the delusional people can downvote, reality won’t change.

  17. You don’t know, but this small country Nepal, which is crushed between two heavy giants India and China hasn’t congratulated Putin. It’s political sphere is heavily influenced by both India and China, so to not do what these countries are doing is praiseworthy. Also, maybe it is also due to the fact that many Nepalese soldiers were tricked into fighting for Russia and this is in no way acceptable for the government there. Kinda interesting tbh.

  18. All the idiots going ”oUR vALUes!!!” in the comments…

Maybe you will realise you are no more than just a geopolitical camp in this world. For decades CIA arranged coups in these countries to extort more and more their resources. West always preferred dictators over democracies in other countries and supported dictators in this fashion because it was always easier to convince one man to extort what they want. So when you go ”oUR vALUes and DeMOCrazIE!!” world sees you for what you really are.

Green countries dont care whether elections were fair or not in Russia. It is none of their business. They dont meddle with the business of others. It is your habit to meddle in with other countries’ inner affairs.

  19. Just in case you’re wondering where the lines are drawn.

  20. We are NOT beating the Russian Bootlicker allegations 😭😭😭

  21. So most of the world recognise and congratulate Mr Putin

  22. Kick Hungary out of the EU and ban Serbia and Turkey from applying for at least a decade.

  23. Why do we even care giving help to 3rd world countries?

  24. Hypothetically if WW3 kicked off and these were the teams – who would win?

  25. Oh, about Ukraine, we don’t think it is unfair, we think it is straight up fake shitahow, just for “dust in the eyes”

  26. Is Western Sahara counted as itself or with Morocco?

  27. What’s the difference? These red countries still recognize fucking Putin and still have business with him and his environment while imposing new and new sanctions and limitations on Russians fleeing oppressive dictatorship.
