Global average sea level rose by about 0.3 inches (0.76 centimeters) from 2022 to 2023 — nearly four times the increase of the previous year — NASA said Thursday, attributing the “significant jump” to a strong El Nino and a warming climate

  1. Are there more factors than just melting ice? Like trees hold a lot of water. Do forest fires cause transpiration which precipitates and then joins the ocean? Or is rising sea level basically just an ice thing?

  2. Frankly we need more fresh water due to the excessive heat…but the real effect are rivers and oceans eroding land.

Water world not too far off.
