Report: Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka not a fit under Julian Nagelsmann, locker room disruption feared

Goretzka and his management are known for their activism and both are the driving force behind the now infamous 2022 WC hand-covering-mouth picture as well as other incidents at Bayern and the national team whenever he was benched, so IF Nagelmann fears some lockerroom distraction from the competitive aspects of the tournaments due to that, he‘s better off leaving the player out. 

2. I’m sure we will se Goretzka at the EM. The decission not nominate him for the two friendly matches is also right, in my opinion. He only had 2 good matches in Munich after lots of bad and unlucky moments. If he continues his performance, he will be back at the national team soon as possible.
