People say GB is a small narrow country but driving from the most westerly point to most easterly point takes 47 hours. This is the typical road trip Americans make on their 3 day trip to Britain.

NGL french toll autoroutes are vastly superior to British motorways. The only time I thought fuuuck this is bad when I had to go on the Super Périphérique around Paris near Orly.
Also I remember there’s a aire du service somewhere mid France which has a giant metallic cockerel statue at the entrance.
If you want proper horror roads, go on the M25 or even better, A8 Como – Lainate during rush hour.
The Peage fees will bankrupt you halfway.
You can also drive for 1 year in Viseu without going through the same roundabout twice.
You can fly for 28 hours from Paris and still end up in France. The American mind cant comprehend

A buddy of mine said that the road tolls are extremely high in france. We plan on driving from Germany to Bordeaux and back. Roughly how much € are we’re going to give to the frog eaters?

At that point, any autonomous vehicke should drive itself off of a cliff. It’s the most ethical solution to such display of self-harm.
