  1. That’s the same government that caves in to car industry demands when it comes to (having no) speed limits, isn’t it?

  2. Jfc Germany has good roads.

In other countries, those speeds would cause crazy amounts of vibration and reduced steering control.

  3. Why don’t they at least have a speed limit of 155 mph or something to prevent ridiculous driving by people in Bugattis putting everyone else at risk.

(I say 155 mph since this seems to be what most German exec cars are electronically limited to).

  4. If it were me, I’d tell the German government to piss off. If they don’t want people doing this, they should have speed limits.

  5. I once got to 240kph in my M3 on A81 going between Konstanz and Stuttgart. Don’t really feel comfortable going at that speed though, even on a clear motorway. Doesn’t take much going wrong for it to turn into a disaster very quickly. One thing I do like though is being able to do a sustained cruise at 180-200kph; you cover a lot of ground quickly but the risk profile isn’t too bad (so long as traffic levels are low).

  6. **(foxnews.com)**

(particular subset of) Americans when they read this:
“Scheisse on those commie Germans with their Nazi era highways, ‘Murica Numba Wan, if we want to we can drive a lot faster, just look at highway uh.. wait..”

  7. Is he an influencer? He’s just a developer with not very clear origin of his first capital needed and with some political ties (how else). He’s a passionate member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church so if you want to be sure not to meet him on the roads, go on Saturday. For me he’s a hypocrite when he pays quite a good amount for the ads for Jesus and then goes to Germany on public highway to do this thinking it’s under control. Unwilling to pay for some closed circuit. And that’s just one of the reasons.

  8. What’s the problem? The video clearly shows there were basically no cars that day and the lane was empty with a flat horizon, it wasn’t dangerous at all. It’s perfectly within the law. If the government dosen’t want this to happen then set a speed limit of 320km/h or something, that’s a pretty reasonable limit. But imo keep it unrestricted.
