Big thanks to all you Redditors for your help. I posted a few days back looking for a high relsolution image of a photo i’d wanted a long time. You found one for me and now i’ve had it blown up to poster size and i’ve framed it, and it looks great! Thanks again, you’re all brilliant!

  1. Look great, followed your original thread may I ask which image you used in the end?

  2. I think your mount may be upside down, the slightly larger part goes at the bottom so the picture doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall on top of you.

  3. I watch an urbex channel on YouTube. Martin Zero. He does explores around Manchester and it’s a really good channel. Anyway.

One of his videos is a culverted river in the area that this photograph was taken and he explains the photo a bit more. It’s basically the contrast between old a new. People were being encouraged away from their terraces to high rise and told it was the future etc.
