In all honesty I don’t think this is a race issue. I think this is a “he’s not in a significant electoral position and is far enough removed from Boris that Cressida Dick-head and her Tory backed cronies feel comfortable looking into this one.

Interestingly Boris has met protection officers nearby at all times as pm.

Is a (white) Eton-educated Prime Minister and Bullingdon Club member comparable to a (black) failed mayoral candidate with little to no backing or friends in high places?
I doubt that this has to do with race. It probably has more to do with the fact that Shaun is Shaun, and BoJo is the PM. How many white people have been sacrificed at the altar of BoJo’s career? I’d wager a fair few.
I think it’s because the building it was held in is not a crown property. This is what johnson and the rest are hiding behind in terms of a police investigation. Won’t get them off the hook with the public though.

Trying to pretend that the only possible difference between Bailey and Johnson is the colour of their skin is a bit ridiculous.
It’s because it’s separate to the ongoing Government enquiry, and thus can be investigated. Suggesting a racial angle to the Met’s approach isn’t very helpful…
