I mean headlines are always written to bait interaction but that one is particularly bad.
This lad has spent far too long in radical left wing spaces. He needs to surface and actually meet the people of Glasgow. Yes, about half the city sees the Union flag as a symbol of all of the horrible stuff the UK has done over the century, but the other half are just as passionately supportive of it.
As for raising foreign flags or flags associated with political issues, again, he’s clearly spent too long in far left spaces if he thinks everyone will get behind the Palestinian cause or ending the embargo on Cuba. Most people don’t think about these things day to day and don’t especially care.
The Pakistani flag is probably the best of the bunch in terms of his ideas because Glasgow does have a sizeable Pakistani community. However given the state of Pakistani politics (even more divided and violent than ours), again you’re asking fo trouble.
