They should make sure the campaign follows democratic standards. Watching the election is meaningless if the public television is just a party propaganda arm and had 3 months to convince the public by sheer bombardment.
Last year during the Dutch election i remember a election observer on the news standing at a voting booth and he looked so out of place.
It was clear that this person is used to observing elections in 3rd world countries not a country like The Netherlands.
Oh and for anyone wondering, no he didn’t find any election irregularities.
The problem isn’t the voting process itself.
It is the constant propaganda that makes North Korea looks sane in comparison.
