This airplane has the world record for flying from uh New York to London and I was the captain of that airplane so the 2 hours 52 59 seconds 52 59 seconds was um we did it together back in 1996 me and my crew yeah I’ve never seen it look

So good I mean it is a beautiful beautiful job that the interpret have managed to do I as I said when I used to fly it it didn’t look like that

After undergoing extensive refurbishment, a Concorde aircraft has been floated on a barge down the Hudson River in New York to return to the museum where it resides. This Franco-British jet, which last flew across the Atlantic in 2003, had been housed at the Intrepid Museum until it was removed for refurbishment in August 2023; it has now been returned to the museum. Leslie Scott, a former Concorde pilot said: ‘I’ve never seen it look so good. I mean, it is a beautiful, beautiful job that the Intrepid have managed to do. As I said, when I used to fly it, it didn’t look like that’.

  1. "MUSUEM", I always thought I was a terrible speller, but this takes the cake.

…and you're British? Aren't you supposed to be better?

  2. wrong, the black bird has the world record for the fastest new york to london flight. This has the fastest COMMERICAL FLIGHT from newyork to london

  3. It should be up in the air flying. But someone got jealous of Europe's domination in fast air travel and started making up reasons why it was a bad airplane.

  4. I love the Concorde, just yesterday I found out this was in New York. Would love to see one of these someday. Under 3 hours New York to London is insane!

  5. A relic of a bygone era. An era that will never come back. The US and UK military have technologies that are way better than jet engines but they will never give this technology to the public.

  6. I wish Supersonic would return to airtravel, not the narrow cabin 20 hour flights like sardines we have today, or even worst, the EV BS they trying to push!
