1. This! I’ve been wondering for a while why a semiconductor embargo and license ban was not pushed harder before. The ban should probably also comprise things like lithography and implantation equipment so that a circumvention of the measures is harder going forward.

   This is silly. [The US does not produce chip](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_fabrication_plants). The amount of disinformation/propaganda is impressive

5. For everyone who think this is pointless, please look up where all factories with modern technology is located: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_fabrication_plants](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_fabrication_plants)
   China is only planning/building 12/14 nm chip factory, every other more advanced factory stands in Taiwan/US/South Korea.
   As for Russia they only produce 65nm chips.
