Vinicius got emotional during the Brazil’s press conference. He was asked three questions about racism before he broke down and ended up stating: “I’m sorry. I just want to play football, do everything for my club and my family, never see black people suffering.” Its clear the toll its had on him.

Top comment on Fabrizio’s post on this on insta is ”He provokes players and now is sad when they provoke back”
Vini isn’t a provoker, but even if he was, if you can be provoked into racism in most cases you were already a racist lol
Once again, La Liga decided long ago that it was alright for him to be racially abused everywhere he goes. From monkey chants to the effigies of him being hanged, it has the support of the authority of Spain’s football league.
I am not sure why are there people justifying racism, at the end of the day this is sport and you can provoke and be competitive and some people will hate you for it, but there should be no tolerance for racism chants and he should be backed up by everyone including La Liga.
Just baffles me how people can be so cruel to “others”.
Was watching the USA Mexico match and the Mexican fans kept chanting “PUTO” at every goal kick, with the game being stopped several times, being down dos a cero, lol why be so petty and cruel.
Live and let live. Let everyone enjoy the beautiful game.
the juxtaposition of seeing this and then the other post about our esteemed captain saying he grew up with friends of different skin color and they never had any problem with racism and its just these people “letting off steam” in the stadiums, is very disheartening.
FOOK RACISM
He’s a human being after all. All the comments saying he provokes the crowd can kiss my ass. He’s the superstar of the team and an easy target. I swear even if he doesn’t react he’ll still get targeted. We need to protect him at any cost.
Laliga is doing fcuk all to stop racism. I wish the Madrid administration pressured laliga to the extreme level to stop this nonsense.
Cheer up Vini, we love you 🤍🤍🤍
hopefully now that they’ve seen vini (yet again) be so affected by racism and all the talk around it they’ll lay off him for a while.
it’s an important conversation to have, but constantly reminding a victim of racism of all the bullshit he’s had to deal with (that most people choose to blame on him, mind you) is just very.. irresponsible, imo. he has to live this reality every day, he doesn’t need to be tormented with it to the point of tears.
anyway. vini siempre en mi equipo 🫂
