Geopolitics so really with the deployment of thousands of local and international election observers uh across the country uh on Sunday uh this election is really being seen as a true test of democracy and and as I’ve mentioned already the fact that the vote has gone well uh at least up until this

Point uh is an encouraging sign

Senegal began counting votes in Sunday’s presidential election as the two main rivals said they were confident of winning a poll that followed several years of unrest and a political crisis.
