  1. Oh, let me guess, did your colleague say you were like Mr.

  2. I remember the trade test transmissions every half hour.

  3. I only know this from the scene in Life On Mars and it still gives me the creeps now.

  4. Always wondered what happened to the doll 🀣🀣

  5. Me as a kid (before I could tell the time).

Wake up in the morning, and wonder Is it time to get up yet? TV on. BBC Test Card F. Nope, back to bed for a bit.

  6. I used to see that test card a lot as a kid growing up in the 1980s, but it always freaked me out a bit because I never realised the green thing was the doll’s body, it always looked like the back of a green skull to me!

  7. Would have been more accurate if you were sitting on the other side of the blackboard

  8. Only thing missing is a freaky clown doll πŸ˜‚

  9. Oh hello, nice to meet you, you must be BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  10. I promise you this will be shared in the upcoming years as β€œlook where the girl is now” posts

  11. Where is the clown?! Is he hiding? And why are the lightbulbs on nooses?

  12. I guess though this time the clown was behind the camera!

  13. I watched an old QI last night about the test card. Apparently the X on the noughts and crosses is meant to be the exact centre of the picture. YIL.

  14. I just want to compliment you on the writing, which is very clear and well done. If I’d done it there be a scrawl and sentences slanting up and down with suspicious smudges between them. Very well done indeed.

  15. I remember as a little kid that test screen would be on while I was waiting for saturday morning tv to start, one time I could have sworn she moved..

Obviously adult me knows thats impossible as it was just a test card but little kid me was pretty weirded out.

  16. Is “open networking” business-speak for “have a chat with everyone before we start”?
