In America's anyone that goes to the poling station can vote, without identification of any kind, on an insecure computer, and the votes are counted electronically far away from prying eyes in many states. In Russia the voting boxes are clear, and counted in place. You can see the PAPER ballots poured out on a table to be counted in public.
