3. Rangnick seems to be a great teacher, but not necessarily a great coach. I love that the German greats all cite him as essential to the development of the *gegenpressing* style, but ‘the professor’ hasn’t put together a consistently over-performing team. Now, if the article said he’ll be on the staff for whoever takes the helm, I would be all for it.
