Trump has been claiming—falsely—that Biden’s electric vehicle policies will allow a flood of Chinese imports (the administration’s policies support the growing domestic EV industry) and put Americans out of work.
China owns the EV industry and half the cobalt. This is propaganda.

Why are American manufacturers so scared of Chinese cars coming in?
Aren’t Chinese cars junk?
Aren’t American designed and built cars among the best in the world?
Aren’t Americans loyal to their own brands and favorite models?
Or maybe they know that Chinese cars are actually very well made, and that (on average) American cars aren’t?
And maybe Americans just aren’t *that loyal*?
