Immigration Is Fueling US Economic Growth While Politicians Rage. The nonpartisan CBO calculated that immigration will generate a $7 trillion boost to the GDP over the next decade after incorporating the recent surge. No advanced economy is benefiting from immigration quite like the US.

Illegal immigration.
We’ve had 7 million people cut the line in front of millions of people who wait 10+ years to do it the legal way.
But what does it do to wages for the poorest American citizens? I get that this is a big benefit to billionaires that want cheap labor and more people to sell stuff to but I find it hard to believe that downward pressure on wages is a good thing for those that’re already poor.
I’m all for it, but it should be happening through a formal work visa program.
In fact, we should be issuing H1s for any job where there is a labor shortage, not just those with specialized skill requirements and once someone has exhausted their 6-years in H1 status, as long as they’ve been employed, paid taxes, and stayed out of legal trouble, they should then be able to apply for permanent residency rather than being sent back to their country of origin.
If you knew anything of what you speak besides propaganda… you would know that asylum seekers are to “seek” and be granted that asylum (if qualified) at the first country they enter. Not travel across continents.
Absolute lies
Illegal Immigration causes massive inequality
The US already has millions of poor uneducated marginalized groups that can’t get access to homes, healthcare, education, transpiration, food, etc
It’s pure propaganda to say that millions more of poor marginalized groups will boost the economy
It’s slave logic and it’s false
How do illegal immigrants help workers ? They don’t because they depress wages and taxes
The only people who benefit from millions of poor people is billionaires and big business
Sir Angus Deaton a 2015 Nobel Prize winner in Economics for his analysis on consumption, poverty, and welfare, believes illegal immigration is creating great inequality.
