Hello, here I will upload some photos of my Praktikum Erasmus in Germany, im in a small village, 250€/month discounted from my "salary" and with 2 more people, only the 2nd floor of a house, what do you honestly think?
Yes the first one is the door, a curtain with like a picture at the side nailed because the curtain isn't long enough to cover the space
the third one is the bed and that's all, with a big space in the middle of the room, empty..

  1. I don’t understand what the question is tbh. You pay 250 in a shared space and there is a door missing?

  2. It seems you have no actual door, so it is not a room. Just an annex in a larger room.

So when you leave the ‘room’ do you have to walk through someone else’s space? Looks like the sheet is held up by tacks. Won’t last long.

Not sure what you could do there. It seems like there is no privacy. 250€ pm for the corner of a room seems like a lot for a little village where whole houses stand empty. Maybe it’s one of these ‘landlords’ renting out Erasmus space for $$$ but is Erasmus aware of this situation? Are there not minimum standards for accommodation?

Could the owner not have a door put in? Only needs a frame and a door which could be removable. I did that once myself.

  3. Are you sure, they didn’t mistakenly put you in the refugee shelter?

(Yeah, I wouldn’t be happy about that accommodation either. Have you tried to bring it up? What did they say?)
