Paul McGrath dropped into our school one time looking for directions. He came into each class then it was lunch time while he was in my classroom. Our teacher used to send 3 people to spar next door for lunch every day so Paul brought us along with our teacher that day. Was the best memory of school ever
Did anyone else ever wonder of that chant was racist in its origins? Like, “ooh, ah, ooh ooh ah ah ah,” like the sound an ape would stereotypically make? I used do it all the time growing up, but it was chanting his name in admiration and respect, the ooh and ah at the start were just there for rhythm and alliteration.
What do ye think?
The innocence of it!
The gen Zs must be thinking we were animals living in those times 🤣
I love it when we didn’t have to be so politically correct and anal…
Funniest video of all time. The sign around the neck is comedy gold.
