  1. In his line of work: terrorism it was bound to happen sooner or later.

  2. Is it just me, or is there a touch of irony in a spetsnaz officer dying in a Russian theater attack?

From the Wikipedia page [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spetsnaz](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spetsnaz) in the section about the Moscow theater hostage crisis:

    >spetsnaz operators from the Federal Security Service (FSB) Alpha and Vympel a.k.a. Vega Groups, supported by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) SOBR unit, pumped an undisclosed chemical agent into the building’s ventilation system and raided it.[citation needed]
During the raid, all of the attackers were killed, with no casualties among spetsnaz, but about 130 hostages, including nine foreigners, died due to poor first aid after falling unconscious from the gas.

  3. “Timur” implies that he’s from a Muslim ethnic background right? Oh the irony.

  4. Gee, what a shame.

Guess they should pay attention to those warnings

  5. Hope he wasn’t there with his family. Otherwise, can get bent
