Little late for that realisation, it’s not like they have been warning everyone for DECADES
A world full of humans, we’re nearing the 8 billion population mark now. Kids today will see 10 billion … Just for context when I was born (1980s) worldwide population was just over 4 billion. It has doubled in my lifetime …
This is the number one reason I’m not having kids.
I honestly believe we are completely fucked regarding climate change. The world’s leadership is full of selfish, sociopaths that simply don’t care enough about the issue to fix it.
They’ll be rich enough to put their family in a protected compound anyway.
The tolerance of parents to blindly accept the apocalyptic future their kids face never ceases to amaze. However neither does the fact that so many of those said parents load their offspring into SUVs in order to cart them around over countless, needless short journies (to give one bad example out of thousands).
There has probably never been a worse time in human history to be a sprog than right now.
Que a bunch of people trying to defend actions that would be, in a sane world, indefensible.
