More good news. If these eventually end up available in chemists then we’re laughing

  1. They both check out.

They’re around 79% (GSK) and 90% (Pfizer) effective against serious disease.

They’re not especially cheap, but the Pfizer one at any rate is cheaper than having someone in a hospital bed for a day, so it’s still a huge win.

  2. What’s the delay with the antivirals when they’ve been approved for a while? Really wish they’d these ready to go as soon as they were approved, they’d be even more reassurance for our vulnerable for this reopening as well

  3. This is really the key to the end of the pandemic, got the disease? Here’s a tablet that stops you going to hospital

  4. These will see the end of mass vaccination so? assume even if they are pricey as fuck (to begin with anyway) they’re still cheaper than the cost of all the logistics and staffing involved in vaccine centers.

  5. Eventually they’ll probably be like Benelyn.

“Feeling under the weather? Try new Benelyn Cold, Flu & Covid.”

  6. this in combination with a full on vaccine? covids gonna be in the bin and i wont have to wear this damn acne super spreader anymore
