Dominic Cummings’ long war of attrition is causing havoc for the Prime Minister

  1. Does anyone actually think this drip drip drip of damaging leaks is *not* coming from Dominic Cummings at this point?

Will be very interesting to see how quickly he comes back into the inner circle when the next Tory steps onto the Prime Ministerial merry go round.

  2. Who needs the 30 year rule when we have Dom?

Optometrists are still trying to get to grips with his innovative method of testing his eyesight, but I can understand to some extent his anger. Forced to resign for that while we were apparently being governed by the cast of a Judd Apatow movie, where the finest activity human beings can aspire to is partaaay!

British politics is a complete snake pit at the moment isn’t it?

  3. Cummings has a substack which is a tenner a month and has thousands of followers. So he is using his grudge against boris to make money in a way. People want to hear his ramblings. Im very critical of him but I have my popcorn out atm as the enemy of my enemy is my friend….atm. A clever but very malicious person.

  4. Doesn’t Cummings have to get a job?

The guy seems to have spent the majority of his life perpetually fired, with only short stints as a Tory PR campaigner.

  5. Regardless of what you think of the man, if this is him, his systematic devouring of Boris is something to be marvelled at.

Leaking an idea, getting Boris to do what Boris does best, lie. Then leak to the press he’s lying trust me, the news slowly press, Boris continues to lie, then hard photographic evidence is released. Rinse and repeat.

  6. If Cummings still has access to emails because he is leak source then this sounds like a national security issue. Emails which suggest BYOB need to be classified.

  7. Good, its great when utter scumbags fall out. And this how the tory party works after all, they are always stabbing each other in the back. They even have committees set up to that, the 1922 committee for instance.

  8. Cummings can fire one shot a week while the cabinet and Johnson are forced to empty a whole magazine of lies and excuses in rebuttal.
Cummings has a lot of bullets.

  9. Article makes it sound like Sunak is actually instigating this via Cummings. Which given how despicable the blues are might not be too far from the truth.

  10. More people must have known last year that more stories were going to come out, and yet they let Johnson go ahead with denials. It’s almost like they want him to fail!?!

  11. The idea that Johnson could outwit Cummings is laughable. But that’s probably what BoJo believes, his ego being what it is.

  12. Dominic Cummings is nothing more than an oversized ego in an oversized forehead. He’s not some Machiavellian string puller bringing down the government in revenge.

This government are shite. They keep fucking up, and that’s why they’re falling apart. If it wasn’t Cummings leaking this stuff, it’d be someone else with their own agenda.

  13. Say what you like about that Poundshop Ayn Rand, having a central role in putting somebody into Number 10, then subsequently having a central role in removing him (assuming it all goes to plan) is quite impressive.

  14. Whoever is doing it (my money, like most people’s is on Cummings and Gove, old accomplices) is just following standard best practice for nurturing a scandal.

  15. Those that live by the slimey manipulative sociopath with a natural feel for politics, die by the slimey manipulative sociopath with a natural feel for politics.

  16. Bruh, tories are like sith lords, backstabbing eachother, being ridiculously wealthy, having little amounts of soul behind their eyes…

  17. Watching this is a bit watching one of those “King Kong versus Godzilla”, or even “Predator versus Alien” movies. You aren’t so much rooting for one of them to win: you’re just hoping that the fight doesn’t end until they’ve both comprehensively maimed each other.
