I was a dept head at the Post Office in 2013-14 and I was told by the Post Office CISO in December 2013, shortly after sub-postmaster Martin Griffiths lost his life to suicide, that they were aware that the Horizon system was the likely cause of the issues, and that some sub-postmasters had gone to prison were probably innocent. I’m glad there are records of this as this corroborates what I know – I believe the whole board were aware but went ahead with the prosecutions and denying there was an issue for years.

All the suffering and deaths that have been caused is not seen as very important in British society.
There will never be justice for this or the things like the Grenfell fire.
Are they going to bring charges against this absolute stain of a human?

One thing I’ve not heard anyone refer to is that apparently no-one thought it odd that so many sub-postmasters with impeccable records were suddenly getting caught “stealing”. The stupidity is as astonishing as the criminal behaviour of those responsible for this horrendous miscarriage of justice. It’s time for the real culprits to be jailed and if that doesn’t happen it’ll prove beyond doubt that our justice system is completely corrupt. Everyone needs to understand what this case means. It means our government can get away with knowingly imprisoning YOU under false pretences.
