  1. Fun fact: my grandmother (which left Norway only once in her whole life) called it a “jumper” too. And a vest she called a “pullover”. I suspect the English words might have come from family in America (we have loads of relatives there).

  2. Very nice! The pattern is a traditional one, and its called Valdres. A lot of the the traditional jumpers/kofte are named after places in Norway. Some of them because they originated from that place, others just because they needed a name.
